Still Struggling to Master Hebrew, and Tired of Learning it?

I understand the frustration you're experiencing.

You've dedicated time and effort to learn Hebrew, taking one or even a couple of courses, but it still feels like grasping the language is an ongoing challenge.

It's been months, maybe even more than a year, and you find yourself at a crossroads.

On one hand, you're hesitant to commit to another full-fledged Hebrew course or extensive lessons, as time and energy may be limited.

On the other hand, you don't want all the progress you've made with such determination to go to waste.

You Don't Want Your Hebrew Knowledge

To Fade Away

Feeling exhausted and overwhelmed in your language learning journey is more common than you might think.

The frustration, mental exhaustion, and constant self-doubt are all part of what we call "language learning fatigue."

It's a real struggle that many language learners face, regardless of their dedication or passion.

You might look at your friends, classmates, or relatives, who are doing well with mastering Hebrew, and feel a bit jealous - why does it seem so easy for them?!

Recognize that these emotions are natural. Everyone has his/her own pace, and that's ok.

And yet, you want to maintain and improve the Hebrew skills that you have obtained so far. And finding the right approach that fits your busy lifestyle can be quite a challenge.

The thought of forgetting most of what you learned, after investing so many hours in learning, feels discouraging, and you yearn for a solution that aligns with your current circumstances.

If Hebrew Courses Have Left You Exhausted -

Another Course Isn't The Key (For Now)

You've invested time, effort, and dedication to finish Ramah Alef (level A) and possibly Ramah Bet (level B), or at least parts of it.

You feel like you need a break before moving forward, but you also want to maintain your current level, reinforce what you've learned, and ensure that you don't lose your language skills.

The reality is that finding opportunities to practice speaking Hebrew can be challenging, especially if you don't have patient Hebrew speakers readily available around you.

Without regular conversation partners, your hard-earned skills might start to fade over time.

About Ori Edelman

and Stairway to Hebrew

Shalom! My name is Ori, I am a native Israeli and Hebrew is my mother tongue.

I've been a certified Hebrew teacher since 2016 and have had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of students, ranging from total beginners to advanced levels.

Some students have continued to learn with me for years, even after the official courses are over, just for the fun of it in my Hebrew club.

I have experience with teaching private students, groups, offline, and online.

My Approach

Unlike most textbooks and courses that tend to be old-fashioned and academic, my courses focus on getting to know modern Israeli culture and speaking practical, daily Hebrew.

I believe that learning a language should be a fun and enjoyable experience, which is why I incorporate real-life situations and conversational skills into my lessons, using puppets (yes, for adults as well!), animated videos, songs, and a lot of games and activities.

My students have achieved great success with my approach, and I'm confident that you'll find my courses to be a great fit for your Hebrew learning journey.

What if I can't attend a certain meeting? Will I miss out on important content?

No worries if you can't attend a specific meeting!

All our sessions are recorded, so you can catch up on any missed content at your convenience.

So, even if you miss a meeting or two, you can easily rejoin without feeling left behind.

Is there a commitment to join for a specific duration of time?

There is no commitment to join for a specific duration of time.

If you decide to continue, the month investment is only 220 Shekels ($62).

How many people are there in the speaking club?

To create a safe and intimate learning environment, each speaking club group, whether in the morning or evening, consists of no more than 10 participants.

This ensures that everyone has ample opportunity to engage, practice, and receive personalized attention during the sessions. With a total of 20 participants across both groups, you can expect a close-knit community where you can comfortably grow your Hebrew speaking skills.

When does the club hold the first meetings? Can I join after that?

The first meetings of the speaking club start in August 2023 - but if there is an available spot, you can also join months and years after that! There is not commitment, and you can join, leave, and join again later.
